Are you a clerk?

How can you help?

We are indebted to the many clerks who support us and our work.

There are five main ways you can get involved with the Unit:

1. Identify Counsel for particular cases

Clerks are invaluable in helping to identify suitable and available members of Counsel for any particular case. Let us know your areas of work and we will make sure we contact you.

2. Become a Chambers Contact

It is always helpful to have nominated representatives in Chambers. Please consider joining the Unit as the representative for your set. Representatives help to act as a contact point for the Unit,  raise awareness of our work among colleagues and field queries about the Unit from the members of Chambers.

To find out more contact us.

3. Fundraise for the Unit

The Unit is run entirely by donation alongside core funding by the Bar Council and Inns of Court. You can join in on one of our events or raise money in any number of ways. For more information contact us.

4. Tell People About Us

You can help immensely by informing your clerking team and members of your Chambers about our work and volunteering opportunities available through pro bono cases and Bar in the Community.

5. Bar in the Community

Find opportunities to use your skills in a different way. We have charities looking for trustees and more.

If you have any queries or wish to discuss any of these or a new idea with a member of the team at the Unit please do not hesitate to contact us
