ALLIES (A Local Lawyer in Every School)

ALLIES (A Local Lawyer in Every School) is an alliance of key stakeholders in the legal profession and education sector, with the aim to bring together lawyers who are school governors, and encourage other lawyers to consider becoming governors.

Developing Discrimination Advice

This is a new mentoring scheme set up for lawyers working in the discrimination field to mentor advisors working across England and Wales in this area.

LawCare

A free and completely confidential advisory service to help lawyers, their immediate family and their staff to deal with the health issues and related emotional difficulties that can result from a stressful career in law. They need lawyers to lend a sympathetic ear to others in the profession.

The Legal Response Initiative

The Legal Response Initiative (LRI) is an award-winning, pro bono initiative that provides legal advice in relation to the UN climate change negotiations. It focuses on least developed countries which suffer the worst impacts of climate change yet have fewest resources available to address them.
