ECHO for Extra Choices in Herefordshire

Who is this organisation?

ECHO offers opportunities for people with learning and/or physical disabilities to take part in a variety of activities in their communities. These include sport and leisure; arts and crafts; learning; social; and volunteering activities during the daytime, evenings and weekends. Currently we are providing 90 hours of activities over 6 days and 4 evenings each week. We also recruit volunteers to support individuals at community activities such as theatre visits, going to the gym or just going for a walk or to the pub.

What skills are they looking for?

Applications are welcome from candidates with experience in all or some of the following areas:

-Employment law
-Tendering and contracts
-Social Care legislation

As part of our commitment to diversity, we would particularly welcome younger trustees, disabled people or people from BME communities.

How often are meetings held?

Ad-hoc.

When and where are the meetings?

Meetings are held in Leominster on Thursday mornings.
