Who is this organisation?

Passionate about putting their faith into action, Faithworks Wessex is a Christian organisation that enables churches, organisations and individuals to demonstrate the Christian faith in real, practical ways that will benefit local communities.

They seek to raise community issues using census or deprivation studies information, as well as the church’s own assessment of the needs on its doorstep, then work with local churches, Christian groups and individuals to address those needs.  This does not mean that they are merely a Christian service provider – rather they seek to offer the kind of support, often ‘behind the scenes’, that makes it possible for the local church to show God’s love directly to its community.
