Summer Delays: Most barristers take their holidays over the summer period. This inevitably means that we experience delays in processing applications for assistance from June until mid September due to the reduced availability of volunteer barristers. Priority will be given to urgent cases, but even though we will still continue to do our best to process your request for help, we may not be able to reach a decision before any approaching deadlines or hearing dates. Please be patient, particularly if your case has no imminent hearing dates or deadlines.

We are particularly experiencing longer processing periods for applications regarding Family law. We will do our best to process your request for help as quickly as possible.
