The Joint National Pro Bono Conference 2009 took place on 9th November in London and 10th November in Manchester. Organised by the Bar Pro Bono Unit, LawWorks and ILEX Pro Bono Forum, the event was well attended and we were delighted with the positive feedback.
This year saw a wide variety of themes explored and workshops included:

· Vulnerable clients and the psychology of advice seeking: lawyers moving outside their comfort zone
· Standing alone: pro bono support for the litigant in person
