 Well Done and Thank you!

Sponsored Marathon for the Bar Pro Bono Unit and FRU

Tom Asquith of 4 New Square Chambers ran the Marathon du Medoc in France on 12th September 2009. He did it in a brilliant 4 hours 46 minutes. He has very kindly decided to donate any sponsorship he gets to the Bar Pro Bono Unit and FRU. Both charities are extremely pleased that he has chosen to support us in this way.

Please support his wonderful effort at

Every little helps further access to justice and ensure that both of these organisations can continue to provide pro bono assistance to many of the people in desperate need of it.

What is the Medoc?

The marathon was created in 1984 by a group of passionate runners, has been nicknamed the "Medoc" and has become a must for many marathon runners over the years. The founders envisaged a race combing four essential elements:  Health - Sport - Conviviality - Fun
