Walk the Thames 2010

Sponsored by BPP Law School

The Legal Walk season in 2010 will kick off with the longest of legal walks - Walk the Thames.

This is a 40 mile walk over 2 days on February 20th and 21st. So it is for serious walkers!

Teams and individuals will raise funds for London Legal Support Trust, or if from outside our area for their local Legal Support Trust, to support extremely hard pressed legal advice agencies.
The Trust will also allow nomination of a single eligible charity to benefit from half of a team's efforts if the team so wishes. To be eligible this must be a legal advice charity such as the Bar Pro Bono Unit. The bulk of funds will go to the main pool to help agencies most in need.

Walkers' funds supporting any other Legal Support Trust in England or Wales will be fully passed to the relevant Trust by the London Legal Support Trust.

Also, individuals wishing to walk in the Trust's own team are very welcome to do so.

Our main event remains the London Legal Walk in May, but for those who like walking and want to see a lot of London from an interesting angle, Walk the Thames is a great event!
