CFFN is a grassroots organisation working in the Borough of Camden to empower young people who are currently studying at or who have recently attended a state school in the borough. CFFN's mission is to revolutionize careers advice in Camden state schools, by equipping young people with the support, knowledge and guidance they need to overcome social disadvantage. CFFN builds community-based networks for state schools out of former students now in the world of work. These networks leverage standard careers advisory services, whilst introducing students to inspirational role models and giving the practical, relatable advice that CFFN's research shows young people want to have access to.
A legal background in charity law and knowledge of the UK education system is desirable
Meetings are in the evenings in Central London.
If you are interested in undertaking any of the opportunities please email Natalia at Bar in the Community at BiCEnquiries@barprobono.org.uk. Please provide the name of the organisation you wish to volunteer with. We kindly ask that you do not contact the organisations directly.
