Candoco’s ethos is that dance is accessible to everyone. They provide opportunities to make this a reality across the UK, and they work with over 12,000 people each year.
The company’s productions show people what can be accomplished and our Learning and Development projects and activities invite them to accomplish it themselves. This has proven to be a compelling combination throughout their 20 year history.
They are looking for trustees with a passionate concern for the arts and disability to join their Board of Trustees.
You will be able to enhance the governance of their organisation by bringing your special experience and expertise to the service of Candoco. They are especially interested in people with legal qualifications, success in fundraising and/or experience of running successful communications campaigns.
An enthusiasm for the arts and contemporary dance and a commitment to diversity and equality are essential. Ideally you will have a strong profile and reputation, and be able to act as an ambassador for the company. You will have excellent communication skills and be eager to work with our small executive and artistic team to contribute to a committed and active board.
