Who is this organisation?

Kairos WWT is a small organisation that recruits female-only volunteers to meet and offer friendship to women working on the street and continue these relationships at the Drop-In, at the Women’s Group and through our One to One Befriending Scheme.

The project began in 1999 when volunteers started outreach in Hillfields. The project has since developed gradually in line with the wishes expressed by the women.

The Kairos ethos comes from the Christian tradition, inspired by gospel values of justice, integrity and a concern for the powerless and marginalised. We work with – and our volunteers are – women of all faiths, and none. We respect and honour difference.

What skills are they looking for?

Kairos are looking for individuals with:

Legal experience (preferably employment)
HR Skills
Passion for their work
