Legal Response Initiative Internship

 
 The Legal Response Initiative (LRI) is an innovative, award-winning, pro bono initiative that provides legal advice and legal capacity-building services in relation to the UN climate change negotiations. They are looking for a LRI co-ordinator intern, who will jointly coordinate and run the LRI (for 3 months’ minimum), alongside an existing intern and under the guidance of the four directors and the Advisory Committee. Community Links -Trainee volunteer paralegal

A charity based in the East End of London, which provides advice to the public on welfare benefits, housing, debt, employment law and consumer issues. They are offering the chance to train as a paralegal, initially assisting clients with filling in the correct legal forms, and then, when sufficiently trained, helping prepare and advocate cases in the Social Security Tribunal. This volunteering scheme is on-going.

The Independent and Academic Research Studies organisation is offering a number of part time opportunities to young people aged 16-25.
  
Roles include: Newsletter Journalists, Youth Advisors for the Criminal Justice Group, Youth Voice Journalists, Researcher, Advocacy, and Film Maker.
