Who is this organisation?                                                                                                                                            

Rights of women is a leading national women's organisation committed to ensuring equality and justice for all women. We advise, educate, and empower women by 1) providing women with free, confidential legal advice by specialist women solicitors and barristers; 2) enabling women to understand and benefit from their legal rights through accessible and timely publications and training; and 3) campaigning to ensure that women’s voices are heard and law and policy meets all women’s needs.

Specific Experience in the following:

  • Human resources management
  • Advice giving and/or legal sector
  • Fundraising, networking and relationship building skills
  • Experience of charity / voluntary sector regulation at a national, strategic level
  • Financial management with experience of the charity / voluntary and community sector (please note this is important for those interested in applying for the role of treasurer).
