        Shared Lives South West

 

Who is this organisation?

Shared Lives South West is a registered charity delivering Shared Lives services (formerly known as adult placements) in the South West of England. Shared Lives South West was set up as an independent voluntary sector agency in April 2004, supported by investment from four local authorities: Devon County Council, Plymouth Council, Torbay NHS Care Trust and Cornwall County Council. It is one of only a few non local authority schemes in the country. SWAPS is registered as an adult placement scheme with CQC (the Care Quality Commission) and has received their highest rating of a 3 star excellent service. 

Shared Lives South West's purpose is to provide a range of long term and short break Shared Lives and small community services in the South West of England. They now deliver long term and short break services to over 180 people, living or staying with over 135 families.

How often are meetings held?

Quarterly attendance to the Board and the Board Sub Committees is required.

When and where are the meetings?

Meetings will be held on a Thursday, usually between 10.30am and 2pm in the Devon area of Kingsteignton.
