Tenovus

Our vision is a future where fewer people get cancer and everyone with cancer will have equal access to excellent treatment and support. We work in partnership to deliver innovative research led cancer prevention, treatment and support in the community to people with the greatest need, initially in Wales. Our Aims are:
•    To provide treatment to cancer patients closer to home
•    To improve equity of access to cancer services
•    To deliver unique support services to cancer patients and their families
•    To conduct and fund research to improve cancer outcomes and experience

What skills are they looking for?
As well as devoting the necessary time you will have strategic vision, independent judgement, an ability to think creatively and a willingness to speak your mind.

Ideally the new trustees will also have experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Within the NHS
- Work experience in health or social care
- Research Medical/Social
- Experience of cancer
- Business and/or professional management experience

We are particularly keen to achieve a more diverse board of trustees and we welcome applications from all sections of the community.

How often are meetings held?
Quarterly.
 
When and where are the meetings? 
Meetings are held in Cardiff between 5-8pm.
