Amicus is a charity that assists those representing impoverished people facing execution in theUnited States. They offer legal and humanitarian assistance by placing individuals in capital defence offices throughout theUnited States.
The charity provides a training programme addressing practical and theoretical skills to assist defence counsel with the representation of those facing execution in theUS. The course is a fascinating insight into the administration of the death penalty in theUSA.
