The Bar Pro Bono Unit is a charity which helps to find pro bono (free) legal assistance from volunteer barristers.

If you are applying for legal help, there may be delays in processing applications between now and mid-January due to the backlog from our closure over the festive season. We are doing our utmost to respond as quickly as possible.

Please be patient, particularly if your hearing dates or deadlines are not urgent.
